I hope this message finds all of you well. We have been very busy here at Project 127 Haiti. With groups coming to Haiti and planning for the fall, this is one of our busiest times of the year. We are very excited about what the Lord is doing through us and with our ministry in Haiti.
We had a missions team from NC and GA with us in Haiti last week. In spite of all the rain from the tropical storm, we were able to get a lot accomplished while the group was there. We spent three days painting, scraping, and more painting at the children's home and making it beautiful. It was great to see all of our Haitian kids pitch in and help us paint as well. It was also a huge blessing to us and them to be able to spend some time with them. We also traveled by boat to the island of Gros Cayes, just off the coast of Aquin. While there we held a big evangelistic service with puppets, testimonies, songs, and a great message from Pastor Keith Beatty. We were also able to pass out some much appreciated items to the people in the little village there. We are also preparing for a team from NC and TX that will be coming down to Haiti on July 26th. We are really excited about this trip as well.
Our well drilling machine is almost completed and should be delivered to us in NC by next weekend. When we get it in NC, we will drill a few test wells and familiarize ourselves with it before we ship it to Haiti. We are working on several different avenues that will allow us to get it to Haiti in the next few months. We are really excited to see how God will use the gift of clean water to further His Kingdom in Haiti. Please continue to be in prayer with us about this. We will also be traveling to a Water Summit Meeting on July 12th in Hickory, NC. There will be many different people from well drillers, to water purification companies represented at this meeting. We are excited about the possibilities and the people we will meet there.
We just added some more pictures of our trip to our facebook account. If you are on facebook, join the group Project 127 Haiti and check out all of the pictures.
Thank you so much for all your prayers and concerns about the people of Haiti.
God bless you,
Steve Horne
