January 2010

Hello again everyone. It is a great time in the Lord as we start off this new year. As you can tell from my previous post, God has blessed our ministry in Haiti greatly over the past year. Now, we are excited to see what God will accomplish through us in 2010. The new year is always an exciting time for me, because it is like a fresh start. It's also a time for us to regroup and refocus on what God has called us to in Haiti. I love to get out and share what God has allowed us to be a part of in Haiti. Whether it be in churches that I have visited previously, a new church, or just with people I meet, it's a blessing for me to share what God is doing in Haiti. 2010 holds a lot of exciting things for Project 127 Haiti.

Mission Trips are a way for us to connect people from the States to people in Haiti. We have a Medical Team from Brooklyn, NY that will be with us Feb. 15th-21st. We will be taking a family missions trip April 5th-11th. We also will be taking 3 groups in during the summer. If you would like to go on a trip with us or a group from your church would like to go, email me for more information. We would love to take you.

We are also trying to finish up the second level and bakery. We are working on coming up with a plan for solar equipment that could help power this. I will be going to Haiti with a few other guys the week of April 12th to work on this.

We are also planning to build a permanent Youth Shack church for our kids that won't get torn down every time there is a wind storm.

Our biggest need as always is monthly sponsorship of our orphanage. It costs about $2,000 per month to operate our orphanage and we are underfunded almost every month for this. If you would like contribute on a monthly basis for $25 a month or perhaps more, we would love to partner with you.

Thanks for all your prayers and support. We greatly appreciate everything you all do for the cause of Christ in Haiti. If you would like for me to come to your church to speak about our ministry in Haiti, just send me an email. I would be honored.

God bless you all,
Steve Horne
