Spring is Here
Spring is here, and for us at Project 127, this is when we are busy planning our summer trips to Haiti. We have some exciting things coming up!
On Monday, April 13th, seven people from King's Way Baptist Church and 22 from Brooklyn, NY will be heading to Haiti for a week long medical missions trip. We will be setting up in four different villages and seeing patients for various medical problems. This will be an exciting opportunity to not only treat them medically, but also to share about Jesus with them. While all this is going on, we will also have a team at the orphanage working on various projects such as clean up and organization.
We will finish up each night with vacation Bible school and services at the Youth Shack at the orphanage.
We have a team from Rehoboth Baptist in Social Circle, GA, coming down to Haiti on June 24th. We will be starting the construction on the second level of our orphanage. This will give us more bedrooms, a meeting room, and also space for a bakery. This church has been an awesome blessing to Project 127 Haiti since our beginning, and they have once again pledged to raise $10,000 towards the construction. Praise the Lord!
Lake Norman Christian School in Huntersville, NC has recently committed to help raise the tuition for all our kids to go to school next year. What a blessing this will be. They will be holding a big fund raiser event in May called "Hike for Haiti." I will also be speaking at their chapel service next Tuesday, March 31st. We are so happy to have them on board with us.
As you can see, God is doing some awesome things in Haiti. We could not continue to minister there without your help. If you would like to help, here's how you can:
-Pray for us and our kids
-Sponsor on a monthly basis or a one time gift (we still have a huge need in this area)
-Pray about going on a trip to Haiti with us
