Building Update
Hello again everyone! I pray that as summer winds down, you all are doing well. We are excited about what God is doing with our building program in Haiti. Our second level addition and bakery is in full swing. This is also a great opportunity for you to get involved and invest in eternity.
Phase I of our building was recently completed. This included construction of all the outer and inner walls. It has been paid in full. Praise the Lord!
Phase II is currently under way now. This includes a full galvanized metal roof and partial concrete roof to hold our cisterns. It has been paid in full as well. Praise the Lord!
Phase III will hopefully begin soon. This includes plastering all the outer and inner walls and readying them for paint, and also running all the electrical.
Here's how you can help. First let me express the importance of this project. It will give us two extra bedrooms which can house several more kids. It will also give us space for a bakery. This is very exciting, because our older kids will be able to work a few hours in the morning in the bakery. This will teach them responsibility as well as raise money for themselves and for the orphanage. It will also give us a large meeting room where we can hold Bible Study.
This phase will cost us about $6,000. We had two large donors (one private businessman and Rehoboth Baptist Church in Conyers, GA), that funded phases I and II. We now need to raise the entire $6,000 for phase III so we can begin the construction as soon as possible. This is your chance to put your faith into action and make a huge difference for Jesus Christ! We know this is a tough time to raise money, but we believe that God will provide our needs. We know someone out there can help us with this project.
You may send checks to Project 127 PO Box 321, Harrisburg NC 28075 (note on the check for Haiti building). If you can't give, please pray for us that God will provide.
We are also in the planning stages of a big fundraising program that could help our orphanage in a huge way. You will receive more details about this in the near future.
