Praise the Lord!

We just returned back from Haiti. What an amazing trip God let us be a part of. Sorry about the lack of updates, which I had hoped to make on the trip. Each time we went to the internet cafe to post, the service was conveniently down.

We flew into Port-au-Prince on Wednesday evening and spent the night there. We got up early Thursday morning and drove to Aquin and saw the kids for a little bit and dropped off Rusty Baker at the orphanage to work on some projects during the week. That afternoon we drove down to au Cayes and showed the Jesus film in a small church there and spent the night. Friday morning we drove to St. George where we boarded a little boat for a 45 minute ride to a small island just off the coast of Haiti. When I say small, I mean very small. You could walk the whole island in less than 1 hour. We showed the Jesus film there and headed back to Aquin Friday afternoon. On Saturday we drove to the mountains to a village called Leje, where we parked and hiked up the mountain and showed the Jesus film that night. Sunday morning we were in church in Aquin, and then headed out to St. George and showed the Jesus film in a small church, where we had over 600 people attend. Our kids from the orphanage accompanied us and helped out as well. Monday it was back to Port-au-Prince and then we flew home Tuesday.

The best part of it is that over 1,000 people saw the film and heard the presentation of the Gospel in four days. We saw over 160 people accept Christ as their Savior! What an awesome experience to think that God allowed us to even be a part of this. Along the way, we also did lots of planning for groups that will be coming to Haiti in the coming months. Thank you so much to everyone who prayed for us and continues to do so on a daily basis. God is doing great things in Haiti!

God bless you,
