New Orphanage

Oct. 18, 2007 - The Success of the H.O.P.E Tour

I cannot even begin to tell you how successful the H.O.P.E. was. For those of you who are not familiar, we brought 11 kids from our orphanage in Haiti to the States. They were here from Feb. through July. It was a culture shock from the moment they got on the plane in Port-au-Prince.

They were able to experience many things that they would not have had the opportunity to experience in Haiti. They had the chance to perform in over 40 churches and share hope with everyone they met. They also went to the zoo, to Washington DC, to New York City, and to Carowinds (amusement park.) Most importantly they heard for the first time in their lives that Jesus Christ loved them, and all 11 accepted Jesus as their Savior!

As they returned to Haiti, we wondered how well they would adjust back to life there. I can tell you with great joy that they are now thriving back in Haiti. They now walk around with confidence as they share Jesus with other people. Instead of being looked down upon, they are now looked up to as leaders. There is a difference in them that is noticeable to everyone they come in contact with.
